CHRYSLER - JEEP

Design additional storage compartments for the JK platform to increase functionality and utility, taking care about the Dreamer, Poser and Doer user profiles.

Design challenge:

 

1. Develop feasible accessories under the Grab, Reach and Stretch scenarios.

 

2. Integrate the accessories to the reinforce JK brand character.

 

3. Create useful and innovative storage spaces to enhance the storage features of JK platform.

 

4. Crate storage accessories which reinforce the brand character of JK platform with out competing with the whole vehicle itself.

 

5. Reach feasible and smart solutions that they may be included for next JK releases.

 

6. Create a harmonic balance among the rest of the vehicle.

The project was developed in 32 weeks, approximately 120 hours, from March to June 2014 and released to be presented in January 2018. The work was created by a fantastic multidisciplinary group of students and recent graduates belonging to different universities in Mexico. The project was very successful and was widely recognized by the personnel of the Chrysler Corporation's innovation.
